The aim of this symposium is to discuss recent discoveries in neuroinflammatory mechanisms, pain and analgesia. It will include presentations on glial cells, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and neuropathic pain, anxiety and depression. Both the clinics and in preclinical models will be addressed.
The presentations by leading scientists in the field will highlight the links between glial cells, neuroinflammation, chronic pain, mood disorders, as well as some pharmacological approaches targeting chronic pain and associated diseases.
